Senior HR Analyst Everyday Health

Senior Human Resource Analyst will specialize in analyzing employee data. This data will be useful in revealing internal trends to proactively attend to employee relation issues. This position will report to the HR Director.
Reporting/ Analysis (from ADP) ? High level analysis of HR reports and manipulation, pulling and manipulating employee data to expose trends, internal problem areas to attack, success stories, etc. to help future decision making; work closely with Associate Analyst and HR Admin to ensure data is up-to-date; use data modeling to help VP of Compensation forecast for compensation planning, etc.; follow/ compare market trends.
Payroll ? Processing Bi monthly payroll for the NY office.
Employee Relation- work with HR Directors to handle a range of employee relation situations across the company- from performance issues, team communication issues, terminations/lay-offs to giving awards, promotions; making sure due diligence is done with every situation (judge against EEOC, other HR laws, etc.); using past employee relation outcomes, termination reasons, internal success stories, etc. to retain help future retention and improve internal processes.
Benefits ? Assist with benefit administration and trouble shooting.
3+ years of Human Resource experience
Bachelor degree with concentration in Human Resources
Proficient in an ADP, ATS systems, Microsoft Office (highly proficient in Excel)
Ability to manipulate data to unravel stories, trends; use data modeling to forecast
Knowledge of HR regulations and laws, benefits offered, immigration processes, etc.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Deadline oriented; able to manage expectations; able to manage up
Strong verbal and written communication skills - assertive / courageous
Able to handle employee relation issues confidentially and professionally
