Job Description
Human Resources Business Partner
Under minimal supervision, partners with assigned internal and/or external clients, coach managers and teams to be effective, assists in managing performance and development, and creates a positive work environment aligned with company culture and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Human Resources (HR) leadership to design and implement policies, processes, tools, and metrics which enable managers and employees to manage performance and development and create a positive work environment aligned with company culture legal requirements.
Guides managers and employees through the various employment processes such as corrective action and documentation, recruitment, retention, succession planning, etc. Ensures consistency and fairness, resolving complex policy related issues, conducting investigations, and make appropriate recommendations as needed.
Assists in the communication and coordination of annual talent reviews, performance goal setting, performance reviews, development planning and compensation planning.
Facilitates manager orientations, coaching sessions, teambuilding, and interventions to increase manager and team effectiveness.
Assists in annual surveys, analyzing feedback and coordinating action planning as needed.
Manages the exit process for assigned client groups, conducts exit interviews and carries out analysis to identify trends and actions to improve retention.
Participates in special projects or completes other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Possess effective communication and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office software such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Human Resources, or similar or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years HR Business Partner experience, preferably in healthcare or a multi-unit environment.
