Senior HR Specialist

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Conducting operation classification, position management and program audit activities
? Conduct classification surveys and individual desk audits
? Use agency automated hiring systems to for recruitment activities and related applicant notification
? Advise supervisors and manager on effective position and organizational structures
? Develop and distribute internal and external vacancy announcements
? Prepare crediting plans and answer routine staffing questions
? Participate in agency focus groups and other meeting held to solicit employee input of program requirements
? Compose documentation, implementing instructions and employee communications necessary to the operation
? Conduct reviews to gauge program success
? A minimum of 6 years experience working as a Senior HR Specialist (staffing, classification and program development) in the Federal sector with a Bachelor's degree or 10 years experience without a degree
