Aerohive Networks is a rapidly growing company with strong revenues and solid market share. We are currently seeking an experienced hands-on Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and will collaborate to implement best practice human resources and provide human resources services - including employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational development, training and management development. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following as additional roles and/or focus will be needed as the company and department continues to grow and evolve:
Partner with Talent Manager to ensure effective hiring and boarding practices.
Benefits administration, vendor relations, and employee communication regarding benefits.
Provide and develop HR metrics and analytics as required to ensure HR targets can be measured
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Ensure company maintains all global compliance
Assist with global job descriptions, performance management systems, and compensation reviews as appropriate
Interpret human resource policies and procedures ensuring both legal compliance and fairness in addressing employee issues, questions, and concerns
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Work with global HR Managers to develop world-class HR Programs to support organizational initiatives.
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Information management: personnel file recordkeeping, I9 documentation
Manage a small team of direct reports
Educational / Experience Requirements
An undergraduate degree or equivalent with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related fields
Professional Human Resources (PHR/SPHR/GPHR) certification is desirable, Global HR essential (EU), APAC a PLUS!
A minimum of five (5) years? experience at the management level gained through increasingly responsible positions with a specialty in compliance and managing the day to day transactions and business processes of an HR department
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Knowledge of California Law is essential
Knowledge of and experience in a global start up or global technology company
Proven track record of mentoring up and coming HR high potential employees
Strong experience in employee relations
A strong background in both delivering and developing training programs
Superb organization skills, analytical competency, attention to detail, project management skills with a proactive and service oriented nature
Proficiency with MS Office especially Excel and can pick up new software/internal tools quickly
