Job Summary
The Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, designing technical architectures and processes, and implementing IAM product components. Key Sr. IAM Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Development and deployment of SailPoint?s IIQ Identity and Access Management products.
Java custom code development
SailPoint IAM Subject Matter Expert on assigned engagement
IIQ installation & configurations
JAVA custom development of extensions to SailPoint?s IAM product
Knowledge transfer to client support personnel
Activities:
Participate in Planning, Analysis & design discussions
Install and configure SailPoint IAM products
Author SailPoint IAM Installation & Configuration document
Configure SailPoint IAM products to meet client requirements
Develop Java based custom code to meet client requirements that are not available in current SailPoint product functionality
Document any software customizations
Code Migration and Code repository understanding and
Document User guides and training material to support development & deployments tasks
1-3 years? experience in deploying SailPoint IAM products and Java development
Implementing RBAC framework based on top down / bottom up models
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
A 4 year degree in computer science or one of the natural sciences
1-3 years experience with Sailpoint IAM Products and Java development
At least 1-3 years previous consulting experience
1-3 years experience with complex IDM products
Familiar with information security regulatory requirements and compliance issues (SOX, HIPAA, SAE-16)
Development and query experience with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle preferred)
Working knowledge of LDAP and directory structures
Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell)
Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance
Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell)
Experience in process definition, workflow design and process mapping
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of client deliverables and technical content
Motivation to learn and seek guidance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidates meeting some of these criteria, but with a significant interest and aptitude to learn these skills will also be considered.
