Senior Information Technology Generalist Devicescape Software
Devicescape is seeking an experienced Information Technology professional to manage all aspects of internal IT. The successful candidate should be confortable with desktop support, email, phone system, Active Directory, Linux servers, and basic networking. More advanced Cisco knowledge is a plus.Job Responsibilities
The IT Generalist is responsible for the daily management of internal IT here at Devicescape. This includes managing all aspects of desktop support across both Windows and Mac platforms, including troubleshooting, software installation, re-imaging and system specification and procurement.
In additional to desktop support, the IT Generalist will be required to support a small Windows server environment, including Active Directory, moves, adds and changes on Gmail and a hosted PBX, router and network switch changes, basic printer maintenance, and all other aspects of our IT environment.
The successful candidate will be required to have a broad set of skills, and be prepared to learn and research solutions to problems where necessary.
Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred
5+ years of IT experience, preferably in a small to medium sized company
Ability to work with Windows and Mac desktops
Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Servers / 2008 R2
Knowledge of Linux servers
Ability to make basic configuration changes on Cisco and other networking equipment. Cisco certification a plus
Ability to make basic wiring and network port changes
Ability to perform basic maintenance of printer hardware
Experience specifying and procuring computer hardware
Customer service focussed, with great communication and interpersonal skills
