As a resourceful Senior Infrastructure Engineer ? Team Lead, you will join our Product Operations group within the IT Department and you will report to the Director, IT & Product Operations. The Product Operations team is responsible for the availability and scalability of our continually accessible active/active SaaS Reputation Manager? fraud system. We also manage and maintain the QA, Development and Corporate IT infrastructure.
In this position, you will help lead engineering & day-to-day operations of our SaaS infrastructure.

Serve as the lead project manager for the company?s systems infrastructure team with a DevOps culture
Design, build and operate systems for a rapidly growing SaaS hosting infrastructure
Provide Linux expertise for high volume production systems
Identify, resolve and prevent existing and future system bottleneck issues
Manage all of the company?s system and storage environments
Develop system monitoring, efficiency and performance tools
Work with the company?s Infrastructure Architect in designing the computing infrastructure; provide technical assistance and consulting to the users; and develop tools for managing the system
Manage hardware and software vendor relationships and the systems procurement process
Troubleshoot performance issues utilizing root-cause analysis and recommend appropriate action
Support community developed open source software in a production environment
Ensure data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implementing and managing software and hardware solutions
Design, develop and support system monitoring and infrastructure automation tools
Participate in on-call rotation with infrastructure team
Provide technical support on application server-related and web applications issues
Respond to trouble-tickets via an internal application and/or phone reports
Document systems, processes and configurations
Occasional travel to the company?s remote datacenters as needed (primarily in Seattle, WA)
Other responsibilities due to business needs or assigned
Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field or the equivalent in work experience
Proven project management skills and ability to successfully complete projects
Full understanding of the software development and deployment lifecycle
Demonstrated experience supporting Linux Operating systems in a 24x7 production environment
Extensive background with block level shared storage platforms
Thorough knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system tools and administration
Fluency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Perl, Java, Ruby, C++)
Thorough knowledge of the Unix shell and scripting languages, including bash, ksh, csh, sh
Awareness of system automation strategies (e.g Yum, Kickstart, Zenoss, Puppet)
Advanced understanding of Linux Kernel tuning in large database environments
Experience with VMware vSphere deployments
Fundamental understanding of a UNIX-based operating system (e.g. understands job control, soft and hard links, distinctions between the kernel and the shell)
Experience with web tools, including tomcat, resin, PHP and Apache
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of articulating ideas; able to express opinions in an environment of open communication
Able to challenge conventional practices; adapt established methods for new uses; pursue ongoing system improvement; explore concepts and ideas to create novel solutions to problems; evaluate new technology as potential solutions to existing problems

Cisco IOS, BGP, JunOS, network
Cloudstack or Openstack in production environment
Network load balancing (Riverbed, Zeus ZXTM)
