Description
The Interactive Producer is responsible for the development, production and implementation of all Covario Creative Services development projects. This includes the on-time development, on-budget completion, and key requirements implementation of services.
Key Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of search marketing, SEO, and content marketing, interactive design, UX and production processes.
Have conceptual understanding and working knowledge of on-page conversion optimization using A/B and multivariate testing methods (hands-on experience a plus)
Oversee the development of client campaign landing pages and micro-sites, from wireframes to final release
Oversee the development of display advertising creative and banner production, to specifications laid out by campaign requirements
Review and approve technical specifications when needed with client, ensure final delivery includes all requested specs and changes
Build out project plans and production schedules for all interactive projects
Provide detailed and accurate status updates to SEM managers, account directors and managers on all Creative Services deliverables for any given client and campaign
Attend client status calls to deliver status updates on deliverables
Receive client feedback on deliverables in progress, and distill feedback into concise actionable instructions to delivery team
Internal/External Legal review and delivery of all final assets to selected developer or vendor
Manage interactive project budgets where applicable
Website and Interactive Development:
Work with design team to develop wireframes and design comps for web, tablet, mobile, and display advertising initiatives
Understand client requests and incorporate those into interactive/online features that also meet basic marketing requirements
Develop the business and functional requirements for interactive projects based upon approved comps from client
Source requirements to developers (either existing vendors or new ones) and recommend preferred vendor for the project
Manage the development process with chosen developer (or flash animator)
Ensure that marketing requirements ( SEO or SEM) are incorporated and optimized in final delivery
Client Management and Position Criteria:
Develop productive relationships with client personnel
Listen to client requests carefully and ask questions when appropriate. Interpret client requests into tasks, deliverables and timelines
Stay current with major trends in marketing and relay relevant articles to client and team
Clear understanding of advertising, non-traditional marketing, tactics, trends, activations and internet application of all of these
Clear understanding of the value of creating online content from offline activities
Ability to communicate clearly both with team members and with clients
Project Management:
Reports to the Director of Creative Services, providing regular input on all project activity (creative development as well as testing), including status reports on a weekly basis
Manages interactive vendor/freelancer relationships throughout engagements
Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in website and display advertising design and development, UX and information architecture implementation
Extensive experience implementing web design best practices and highly intuitive visual design techniques
Understanding of capabilities and restrictions of selected technologies in the online space (HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Flash)
Proficient in Basecamp and Attask PM systems
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail are a must
Communication skills with years of experience in team and client settings
Knowledge of below the line marketing processes and tactics
Natural desire for process, organization and job workflow
