Duties & Responsibilities
The programmer/business analyst is responsible for providing business application programming and database administration support for critical business systems at LitePoint. The role requires 10+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION ERP system and SQL- Server based application development in a finance, accounting, and manufacturing environments. The qualified candidate must have in-depth MS NAVISION ERP experience with strong foundation in accounting processes to support LitePoint Finance & Accounting. The candidate will provide database support, application development, and data integration (ETL) between MS Dynamics Navision, SalesForce.com, and ServiceMax. Additional responsibilities include website administration and development in MS SharePoint and SQL reports in MS SQL Reporting Services. The individual will also assist in application and system evaluation and vendor selection.
Responsibilities:
Perform business programming based on priority projects, including reporting and data extraction requirements for Sales, Operations, and Finance/Accounting
Perform application support and customizations in MS Dynamics NAV ERP, SalesForce, and ServiceMax.
Perform business analysis with BI tools like Tableau or TM1. Develop dashboards based on Tableau and SalesForce.
Develop workflows and data integration between SalesForce, NAV ERP, and other business systems using integration tools such as Boomi or Informatica
Perform SQL database administration tasks including data modeling, data ETL for data warehousing and data integration
Perform vendor and product evaluation based on business requirements
Support business in process documentation & application training for users in the US, China, and Taiwan
Develop test strategies for new and existing applications
Write documentation for technical requirements, business processes, application specifications, and user training
Design data models and business reports using SDLC methodology
Interface with business owners and users and gather data requirements based on business processes
Support IBM/Cogno TM1 and develop dynamic, database driven dashboards based on Tableau, Monarch or other BI tools.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Re Requirements:
In-depth, hands-on experience with MS T-SQL programming & application support in MS Dynamics Navision and SalesForce, including data integration and ETL
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION ERP system. Strong understanding of NAVISION data structure.
Experience with business analytics (TM1, Tableau) and demonstrated knowledge with multi-dimensional data modeling and business workflow development
Hands-on implementation experience with developing business dashboards, workflow in SalesForce and using Apex for application customizations.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing sector and solid understanding of ERP & MFG processes
QQualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business or Information Systems
10+ years of experience as a business programmer/analyst with strong knowledge of accounting processes such as GL AR, AP, FA SOP, PO and consolidation in a multi-currency environment.
Hands-on programming experience with ERP system in MS Dynamics Navision, Great Plains required.
Experience with SalesForce.com setup, configuration, workflow design, and Apex programming required.
Experience in MS SharePoint site administration, web development, and workflow integration strongly desired..
Solid hands-on knowledge of SQL-Server 2005 database administration, data modeling and design.
Strong relational database design skills and SQL scripting in MS SQL Server. Must have experience with data migrations and ETL.
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Reporting Services and experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos TM1, Tableau. Actuate, or equivalent.
Sound understanding of HTML, ASP, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, PHP, and Java required. Experience with both server-side and client-side web development and workflow management tools such as MS Visual Studio a must.
Strong analytical skills and able to grasp and evaluate business and user requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to interface with users at all levels of the company.
Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently based on high-level directives.
