Senior IT Production/Systems Engineer Visible Technologies

Working in our IT department, you will be responsible for supporting networking and server platforms for our Corporate network and cloud-based SaaS application platform.Our large-scale SaaS platform provides cutting-edge analysis tools to our customers, and you will be the primary Engineer responsible for building and maintaining that infrastructure. Visible is on the leading edge of technology in our industry, and this position will be the hands-on person who puts all the pieces together and makes it all work.
10+ years experience in corporate IT services
Extensive knowledge of Linux (CentOS) and Windows Server platforms required
Knowledge of common software stack components like IIS, Tomcat, Apache, MySQL, etc. running under both Linux and Windows required
Experience with Linux deployment, configuration, and monitoring technologies (Cobbler, Puppet, Nagios, and Ganglia) required
Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper switches and Cisco routers and firewalls, and F5 configuration and administration, very important
Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise applications like SQL Server and SQL clusters, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc. extremely helpful
Must have experience working in large-scale SaaS environment, understand customer SLAs, etc.
Knowledge of Linux clusters, Hadoop/CDH4, and related technologies extremely helpful
Database administration experience extremely helpful
