Lattice Engines is looking for a high-caliber, well-rounded technology professional with experience managing various server and network technologies in a hosted SaaS environment to join its Technical Operations group. You will be instrumental in the implementation and management of our SaaS production environment to host our 'Big Data' predictive analytics solution. In addition, the successful candidate will be a superior problem solver. He/She will be someone who is adept at keeping up-to-date with the latest technical trends; can commit to and meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities
Maintain and support enterprise SaaS platform
Analyze systems, compile data, and make recommendations for greater system efficiency
Performance tuning Windows and IIS
Load balancing experience (F5, Netscaler)
VMware 4.1-5.1 experience
Linux system admin (5% of systems)
Serve as a key contributor in the creation, design, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of various platforms
Instrumental in driving high availability, scalability and disaster recovery to meet customer SLAs
Part of a team that will provide 24/7 monitoring and operation of all server systems including all application integration points and optimal system performance
Enterprise Backup Systems running on Windows
Active Directory setup and design and group policy creation and management
Performance management using built-in or other commercial tools
Management of Global Antivirus and/or Spyware service
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience focused in Windows 2008 server and IIS in a hosted environment and some basic Linux management skills.
Experience with Cisco and other enterprise class switching (L2/L3), routing, load balancers and firewalls
SQL server 2008 and R2 installation, configuration and support
Ability to configure and troubleshoot VPNs (L2L and RA) on Cisco ASA platform
Supported Data Centers (24x7) including server hardware running VMWare vCenter 4.1 to 5.1
Ability to provision iSCSI SAN for VMs
5+ years of experience in supporting Microsoft?s Active Directory domain environment including Windows Server 2008 R2
Scripting language experience, eg. Python, perl etc.
General knowledge of UNIX/Linux based OS environments
General understanding of software development principles
Bachelor?s Degree or relevant work experience
