Senior J2EE Architect KnowledgeBlue
We are looking for an experienced J2EE / SOA / Web Services Architect to lead the development of our next generation SaaS Solutions. This is a fast-paced development environment and will also require interfacing with KnowledgeBlue Clients.This is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of top-notch developers responsible for extending our flagship open source ERP/CRM product, openBLUE, and integrating openBLUE with other open source applications in our SaaS environment. This will involve architectural design around SOA/Web Services along with leading a team of 5-8 developers. We are looking for someone with strong problem solving skills, technical savvy, and great written and verbal communications skills.
Skill Required:
Expert in Java/J2EE development and architecture
Lots of experience with SQL and Oracle;
Should be very familiar with other web technologies such as PHP, DHTML, JSP, JSF, XSL, XML, Javascript, and Ajax/XML
Experienced with web development frameworks, Struts, JSF, Eclipse RCP or equivalent;
Designed SOA and Web Services based architectures
Knows how to work in a team/collaborative environment;
Demonstrated ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way.
Other skills required:
Minimum of eight years in IT-related occupations;
Experience with Open Source Application Solutions;
Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals;
Ability to interact with clients in a professional, articulate way;
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Platforms and Software tools:
Familiarity with a majority of the following: Linux (RedHat, Debian), Apache, JBoss, openBSD, LDAP, SonicMQ, ServiceMix, Windows 2003 Server, Oracle 10g, CVS, Eclipse, Bash, Perl, PHP, Python, MySQL, etc.
