Are you looking for a large scale, big data problem? Well RAMP has one that might be for you. RAMP is looking for a developer to join our team Engineering team working in Java/Apache Tomcat/Hibernate produced RESTful XML/JSON API. You will be responsible for expanding our API offering by designing and developing new APIs. If you have experience working with data from numerous sources (logs, MySQL, APIs, Google Analytics, Urchin, etc?) and want to develop a system to help make sense of it all, RAMP will provide the challenge you are looking for.Check out http://developer.ramp.com to explore and play with our current APIs.
What you?ll be doing:
Lead our development effort to consolidate and ?productionalize? our reporting infrastructure
Developing new RESTful APIs built on our existing Java Tomcat technology stack
Consuming RESTful APIs built on a Java
Working on a team of experienced Java developers on a large scale system
What you should know:
Developing in Java, Apache Tomcat, Hibernate, Spring , Ant
Experience developing RESTful APIs using XML/JSON
Experience using and developing for MySQL databases
Experience working with large scale production environments.
Experience working in AWS a big plus.
Experience developing in Eclipse
