About You:

We need full-time Senior Java Developers that have what it takes to make a difference in everything from design through implementation and support. We're looking for articulate technologists, with a deep understanding of highly scalable web technologies and experience in building web platforms. You?ll understand the big picture, the applications, the platforms they work on, enjoy working with people across the organization, and excel at communications. Requirements:

Here's the Absolute Must Haves we need from you:

Expert Knowledge in J2EE, Spring and Hibernate
Test driven development practices using jUnit
Expertise in database design and SQL tuning
MySQL 5.x with special focus on SQL query performance tuning, replications and data partitioning etc.
Strong knowledge of design patterns.
Experience designing highly scalable web applications.
Strong knowledge of XML/XSL/JSON, Web Services
Single Sign-on (SSO) and SAML
Ability to deliver quality code quickly from specs (ensuring points of interface and design are extremely clear), and work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Excellent analytical problem solving skills
A portfolio (list of URLs and what you did on those sites will do)
A great sense of humor



Here are the "really-nice-to-haves":

Familiarity with Facebook (FBML, FB Apps, FB APIs), OpenSocial
Mobile platform development, including iPhone and Androd apps a plus
Knowledge of Hadoop, Cassandra and HBase is huge plus (but not required)
Past experience at a social networking product
Linux administration, MySQL replications, networking
Experience developing and deploying applications using PHP
Clustering solutions that use commodity hardware and smart software to keep sites up and running is a huge plus!
