Overview
Razorsight is looking for experienced UI and Data Visualization Developers. The most competitive candidates will display a strong understanding of the latest UI frameworks and technologies to display and visualize complex location sensitive data. You will add your skills and years of experience to existing team of talented developers. This individual should maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market.
Requirements:
Hands on knowledge and expertise in Java based UI frameworks (extJS, RichFaces etc.,)
Hands on working experience with Google Maps, and other charting, mapping technologies
Commitment to teamwork, processes, and planning in order to ensure the success of the development objectives
An uncanny ability to communicate with other team members, project management and clients
Technical Skills:
This is "Greenfield" development and the right candidate can, and will, have the opportunity for architecture, technology, and tool selection and input. The skills expected to provide most benefit include:
5+ years java development, including 3 years web development (Apache Tomcat experience preferred)
- Strong front end web development experience including HTML, CSS and Javascript (AJAX, DOM, JSON) including specific experience with one of the following libraries: ExtJS, jQuery
Familiarity with Cross browser compatibility issues for Javascript, CSS, and HTML
Experience delivering enterprise software focused sites
Experience optimizing sites for mobile browsers strongly preferred
Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy and Grails expected to be helpful
