Crisp Media, a leading rich media mobile advertising company, seeks to recruit an experienced JavaScript developer to design and support the engineering of some of the company's new ad products. This is a full-time, in-office salaried position with benefits + bonus in New York City for someone deeply technical, dynamic and experienced. Crisp is headquartered in New York and develops products with a global reach.Position Summary
For you, JavaScript is more than just jQuery or code-snippets. You excel at adaptive patterns that allow you to exploit JavaScript, CSS3 and the HTML DOM for products running on multiple mobile devices. You can build dynamic, responsive web apps that work across browsers and across devices. You have a history of being a go-to developer who can execute swiftly on changing requirements and add depth to the team with your great people skills and communication. Responsibilities
Implement front-end and client-side technologies for cross-mobile-platform products
Manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle in a SCRUM-based team model
Design and enhance HTML5 based mobile ad framework for highly scalable delivery
Update and improve existing web apps
Maintain experience and awareness of emergent mobile and cloud technologies
Skills and Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is required
Expert level OO JavaScript (4+ years) engineering experience in a software company
Expert knowledge in AJAX, JSON and data driven JavaScript applications
Professional experience with HTML5/CSS3 in cross-browser setting
Comfortable with agile development cycles, unit testing, regular deliverables
Great written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting
Pluses
Prefer experience with advertising and Ad Tech
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience with optimizing web performance for mobile devices
Working knowledge of PHP
