Senior JavaScript Engineer Zoosk
Zoosk is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to focus on building out our next-generation mobile applications. This is the future of web on iPhone and Android. You should have a passion for elegant and responsive architecture. You will own the projects you work on and will have a direct impact on the way our users experience Zoosk.Responsibilities:
Build highly scalable, reusable, and performant JavaScript frameworks
Identify and address performance bottlenecks
Work with the Product team to build the next generation of Zoosk products
Participate in design and code reviews
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience
Expert knowledge of JavaScript
Strong command of web technologies and standards (HTML5/CSS3)
3+ years overall experience as a software developer, with emphasis on scalable, data-driven, distributed web applications
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, coding, debugging, and testing patterns
Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and spoken)
Desired:
Familiarity with Backbone.js, Knockout, AngularJS, batman.js, Closure, ExtJS, JQuery Mobile, Sencha Touch, or other JavaScript framework
Previous start-up experience
Experience with agile software development methodologies and productivity tools
Contributor to an open source project
NodeJs experience
Active Facebook API developer
