Job Duties:
You will be developing systems designed to be scalable, flexible, secure and fault tolerant that have an immediate impact on the company's bottom line. The development challenges are complex and require highly skilled, talented engineers.
As a key member of the Software Engineering team, you will design, code, and test software for the company's core web applications and infrastructure.
Projects include:
--Building the next generation of online tools for consumer users.
--Engineering frontend and backend code for new industry vertical expansion plans.
--Developing mobile-friendly versions of their public site and user accounts.
--Performing conversion optimization of their consumer/public-facing site.
You will thrive in this team if you are bright, quick, and innovative - someone who's a self-starter and will dig deep into the system and find a variety of ways to improve it, who has not only an understanding of how web technologies work today, but what the future looks like.
Salary Range and Bonus Potential:
--$70K to $95K

Job Requirements:
--Minimum of 4 years experience in a fast-paced, production software environment developing scalable and high-availability systems using LAMP stack technologies (PHP, CSS, SQL).
--Experienced building data driven, web based applications.
--Preferred experience: JQuery, HTML5, AJAX, PostgreSQL, JavaScript.
--Strong background with Object Oriented PHP5, MySQL, SQL scripts.
--Experience with coding best practices, Agile, defensive programming, model-view-controller architecture, web standards, source control, and unit testing.
--Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
--You should have a love of innovation, a can-do attitude, enthusiasm for learning new topics, and sharing knowledge with others.
Educational Requirements:
--BSCS or MS degree from 4 year accredited college/university or equivalent work experience preferred.
