Senior Linux Software Engineer TVU Networks
Responsibilities:Create new features from scratch, enhance existing features and optimize existing functionality, from conception and design through testing and deployment
Architect and develop new software products using C/C++ in a Unix/Linux environment
Work closely with product management to ensure we are building the best products
Work with engineering support team to troubleshoot complex network problems and customer issues
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
Master level C programming and Linux OS knowledge
Experience with Linux kernel and device driver area
Working experience with Internet protocols including TCP/IP and socket programming
5+ years of strong expertise with building scalable multi-threaded applications
Proven track record of delivering large amounts of high quality, complex code
Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment
Familiar with scripting language, prefer Python
Working experience with Video technologies a big plus
