Senior Manager - Channel Marketing Centrify
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Senior Manager, Channel Marketing is responsible for developing strategy and programs for the channel as it relates to our Data Center, Cloud and Mobile offerings (VARs, Distributors, SIs, preferred consultants, mobile carriers), and executing on programs and key marketing initiatives that continue to grow Centrify?s channel business and take our channel program to the next level. This position will work closely with sales leadership and the channel sales organization to define and execute on overall channel program structure, communications, and campaigns.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with proven, hands-on experience with channel programs (from defining program requirements, to training and go-to-market readiness), and field and channel marketing programs whose success is based on obtaining new leads and channel-sourced opportunities and advancing those leads and opportunities through the pipeline. Specific channel marketing activities may include but aren?t limited to collateral development, PR/AR, event planning and strategy, seminars/webinars, sales tools, website content, and training. This individual will understand how to extend and leverage corporate campaigns and materials for the channel and be familiar with channel business models.
Key to this position is an understanding of corporate marketing, field marketing, and working globally as well as with individual geographies. This individual is responsible for all aspects of channel programs including ROI analysis, budget, development, resource management, quality control, launch, communications, and promotion. This position is based in Sunnyvale CA and reports to the Director of Field and Channel Marketing.
Developing channel strategy and programs as it relates to our Data Center, Cloud and Mobile offerings - defining the appropriate programs and requirements for each and executing on those programs.
Impact channel pipeline by launching results-driven joint marketing programs
Strategically plan, manage and execute on marketing programs such as webinars, seminars and in-person events to meet quarterly lead, opportunity, and pipeline metrics. Work with channel sales and partners on joint execution of programs.
Planning, development, and execution of channel marketing collateral and sales tools, including live training webinars
Interface with various groups to communicate plans and deliver results including sales, product management, and executive management.
Follow programs through to completion by monitoring follow up of leads and completing post-program ROI analysis.
Own management of channel deal registration and rewards program
Manage programs on time and on budget.
Participate in relevant social media including presence and posting on LinkedIn and Twitter.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications and/or advertising.
5-8 years B2B channel marketing experience in the high-tech industry, preferably in software, hosted services or IT infrastructure to large enterprise and mid-market IT. Server, mobile or cloud industry experience a plus.
Well-rounded in all aspects of marketing: positioning, demand generation, and marketing automation.
Demonstrated willingness to work as a member of a team and interface appropriately and effectively with management, marketing colleagues and vendors to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Must be detail oriented, and possess strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere; must excel under pressure and with minimal supervision. Candidate must have a high degree of initiative and work with a keen sense of urgency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com required. Experience with Marketo (or Eloqua) preferred.
