manage our consumer analytics and online customer acquisitions strategy. Someone who is
well versed in international desktop and mobile advertising campaigns, analytics, and online
marketing best practices, this team member will be responsible for driving the next phase of
BioLite?s direct-to-consumer commercial growth.
TITLE: Senior Manager, Customer Acquisition and Analytics
LOCATION: Brooklyn, New York

BioLite is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is excited to take the next step in his
or her career at a fun, fast-paced, socially conscious startup environment. Reporting to the
Director of Sales, this role will oversee direct-to-consumer sales P&Ls (on Biolitestove.com
and on Amazon), and will perform consumer data analytics to monitor and direct BioLite?s
global online sales and digital market efforts.
The CA&A Senior Manager will have direct financial oversight over his or her online sales
initiatives, and will help BioLite to reach a wider consumer audience. This is an exciting
opportunity to play a vital leadership role within BioLite, and the ideal candidate will be
eager to bring energy and creativity to the position.
? Manage BioLite?s e-commerce team and perform market research to identify the
right markets, channels and partners to drive growth.
? Oversee direct-to-consumer sales P&Ls on Biolitestove.com and on Amazon.
? Own and execute BioLite?s direct customer acquisition strategy and budget across
multiple channels (SEM, display, mobile, blogger & affiliates) in domestic and foreign
? Develop and execute a strategic framework, project plan and roadmap for BioLite?s
global online sales initiatives.
? Translate business objectives into systems and/or procedural requirements.
? Transform complex concepts and large data sets into executable plans and customer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
? 3-5 years of experience in the strategic design, implementation, configuration,
analytics and testing of e-commerce and web-based systems and websites.
? Experience in a consumer-oriented web services development environment.
? Broad knowledge of e-commerce and IT systems, as well as comprehensive
knowledge of relevant business functions and their interdependencies.
? Experience in analyzing visitor flow, funnel construction, and conversion
? Experience working with and engaging external consultants.
? Enthusiasm for working collaboratively and brainstorming with a tight-knit,
hardworking community of professionals.
? Sense of humor, proactive approach, and work ethic necessary to thrive in a fast moving, team-oriented company.
? Strong experience with SEO, SEM, CPC, Affiliate Marketing, Attribution Modeling, and
? Quantitative analysis background, familiarity with various analytics platforms and a
range of shopping carts. Ability to digest variety of data streams and deliver high evel dashboards and learnings to broader team.
? Experience with BI Analytics, Amazon, and online advertising, including ad speed
responsibility, tracking, and verification.

advanced, affordable, clean- burning stove that combines unprecedented emissions
reductions with economically valuable electricity generation. The HomeStove? is capable of
reducing indoor smoke by more than 90% while cutting fuel use in half. By providing our
largely off-grid customers with the ability to charge cell phones and LED lights, our stoves
create economic incentive for purchase and continued use, ensuring sustainable delivery of
our health and environmental benefits.
Funded by the company?s profits and the generous support of the US Department of Energy
and USAID, BioLite is currently conducting large-scale HomeStove? pilot programs in India,
Uganda, and Ghana. We aim to fully commercialize the product in the near future.
Outdoor and Emergency:
BioLite has quickly emerged as a leading innovator in the personal energy space. Whether
camping in the backcountry or toughing it out during a power outage, our core technologies
allow people to cook meals, boil water, and charge their electronic devices using nothing but
the sticks and twigs collected around them. Our CampStove, along with its accessories,
