Role
This position will develop and execute Ecommerce strategies to grow the BitTorrent direct-to-consumer software sales business in line with over all business strategy by building and maintaining deep knowledge of analytics behind sales (exposure, conversion, average selling price, gross margin) and using insights to optimize the business. You will manage activities across multiple milestones and deadlines for projects to bring new direct-to-consumer sales initiatives to market by communicating effectively with executives and other key stakeholders both the strategies and performance of the business. This position serves as a subject matter expert of Ecommerce for BitTorrent.
Responsibilities
Responsible for driving net sales and gross profit for BitTorrent?s direct-to-consumer software sales
Manage day-to-day operations of a business which includes web-based promotion, in-client promotion and affiliate sales
Manage the shopping cart and various systems for driving demand from the web or from our existing user base of over 100 million consumers
Concurrently run many different campaigns addressing millions of consumers in many languages and geographies
Lead the relationship with BitTorrent?s 3rd party ecommerce partner, including online store and product fulfillment
Closely partner with the Product Management, Product Marketing, User Experience, Analytics, Operations and Support
Able to both plan an overall approach and implement tactics to drive sales which are measured against company objectives
Possess great analytical skills, showing ability to dig deep into data to uncover insights and turn those insights into actions which drive results
Possess great creative instincts for how to position offers and how to modify the discovery and purchase workflows to optimize results
Experienced in managing a sales process which is focused on mass-market consumers and incorporates continuous testing and analysis
Experienced with how to partner with affiliates to effectively leverage affiliate sales channels
Requirements
We?re looking for people with a good combination of the following experience:
7+ years experience managing eCommerce for consumer software sales
Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree preferred
