Kapost currently serves mid-market to enterprise marketers, including such customers as Intel, AT&T, Oracle, Verizon, and Allstate. We have deep partnerships with marketing automation vendors Eloqua and Marketo and currently focus on B2B marketers.
Kapost seeks a hard-charging, talented Product Marketing professional to join our content marketing team. As the leading content marketing software platform on the market, content is core to our values, product and go-to market strategy.
This position's key responsibilities include helping set product messaging and go to market strategy for Kapost?s cloud offerings. This position calls for a high degree of collaboration with the need to work with leaders across the entire organization including Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering as well as engaging executive management. The Director needs to be extremely versatile with the ability to discuss product positioning with industry analysts, supporting the sales staff through competitive intelligence, to working with our amazing creative team to deliver targeted web content, video, strategic communications and other sales tools.
The position will be compensated through a competitive package including salary, bonus, options and benefits. The position is located at our headquarters in Boulder, Co.
Min. 5-7 years product marketing experience in a high tech company
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products, preferably in the cloud/SaaS space
High energy, passionate with a great attitude
Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines
Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
Ability to perform well in a fast pace environment
Helping to create some structure and definition around uncertain, complex and/or ambiguous business problems
Develop go to market strategy, positioning, and pricing strategies for new innovations
Manage the Kapost.com test drive program
Support sales efforts by helping to identify and fill communication gaps in the sales process by buyer stage
Craft compelling positioning and thought leadership content
Help Identify and craft buyer personas and conduct basic customer research on existing and potential customer segments
Identify and craft product messaging for existing products and new product launches
Manage all launch and go to market activities
