Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be a passionate product marketer with proven track record and experience in digital marketing technologies. In this role, you will be a key driver for building and managing best-in-class sales tools and go-to-market strategies for our next generation of interactive marketing software and services. You will work closely and collaboratively with a cross-functional team that includes sales, marketing, product management, and client services toward the goals of guiding the sales teams to successfully position our products to win business, leading the marketing team to promote customer successes and new product releases, and helping the product management team to fully understand market and customer opportunities.
This is a senior manager or director-level role (depending on experience) reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Establish yourself as a market and product expert for key stakeholders by investing significant time in understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitor positioning.
Develop high impact customer-facing sales materials (presentations, demo scripts, white papers, case studies, and product data sheets).
Develop effective sales training materials for new offerings, and deliver training to direct and channel sales teams.
Consult with the sales and clients services teams on how to best position and promote StrongMail products and services to new prospects and existing customers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute go-to-market plans for new product releases.
Work closely with corporate communications to evangelize success stories to prospects, customers, analysts and press.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor?s degree with a minimum 5-years of product marketing experience.
Proven success working closely with sales teams to effectively position digital marketing technology and services to win enterprise-level clients.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills that demonstrate ability to tell a clear, compelling and concise story.
Ability to grasp technical details of new technology products quickly and translate their meaning and value to a non-technical marketing user.
Comfortable presenting to groups of colleagues, clients, prospects and partners.
Self-starter that is comfortable working in an environment that encourages taking calculated risks.
Strong analytical capabilities able to assess complex situations and execute appropriately.
Previous experience in digital marketing technology, specifically email, social media, mobile, or customer analytics.
