In order to reach our goals, we?re looking to hire a Senior Manager of Merchant Programs, reporting to the Head of Sales Operations. The Senior Manager of Merchant Programs will be an integral part of LivingSocial?s sales leadership team, helping create a world class sales organization by overseeing all merchant communications driven by the sales organization, enhancing the merchant campaign strategy to increase annual merchant revenue through upselling and cross-selling products and programs, as well as collaborating with merchant product teams to roll out merchant products to the sales organization. This role will also be the champion for the merchant experience and serve a core role in continuously trying to improve our merchant net promoter score.

Merchant Communications ? Develop a deep understanding of our various sales touch points with a merchant during their relationship with us. Ensure that what, when and how we communicate with our merchants is timely, clear and effective. Partner with the sales and marketing organization to deeply understand communication needs, collateral requirements and develop robust and engaging ways to facilitate communication between our sales organization and our merchants.
Campaign strategy - Develop merchant campaigns and packaging for sales teams to increase sales of merchant solutions, penetration of merchant products and/or merchant up sell/x-sell. Includes developing ideas to drive qualified merchant leads, forming programs/campaigns, implementing these programs, and tracking and managing results.
Merchant Product/Program Deployments ? Work collaboratively with Product Management and Sales Management to determine how to best deploy our merchant offerings to our sales organization. Work closely with the product team to determine the product launch strategy and execution of the strategy. Develop and optimize product roll-out process, including providing closed-loop feedback from sales back to Product.
Merchant Experience ? Deeply understand the merchant pain points that can be controlled by the sales organization and work tirelessly to address the controllable items that can most improve our merchant experience.

Bachelor?s Degree, plus minimum of 8 years experience with proven results in creating and implementing a strategy to support sales channel development.
Experience in supporting a sales organization, launching programs, pilots etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
Must have strong written communications skills, ideally with visual/digital design skills
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible, and adaptable to new situations
Think strategically in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing to meet deadlines
