The Senior Manager of Mass Media Channels will focus on customer acquisition through radio, television, podcasts and internet video, as well as identifying, developing, testing and managing key buys through each medium. The job will take RingCentral through each logical step of media buying, from remnant to primetime, as each form of the Medium?s effectiveness increases. This individual should be able to create, analyze, maintain and defend data driven marketing plans for each form of media. In addition, this individual will build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate media buys, develop and execute a consistent stream of tests on creative, markets, vendors, and placements, and oversee insightful analysis to evaluate media performance.
Drive new customer acquisition efforts in the following channels but not limited to: Radio, Television, Podcasts and Online Video,
Manage, monitor, report, and test all acquisition efforts involving Mass Media Channels
Analyze campaign and media results to determine how to best allocate marketing dollars to drive revenue and profit
Develop and own budget, reporting, forecasting and overall marketing plans for mass media initiatives
Maintain continued optimization and targeting of ad creative and media buys
Keep pace with emerging online media trends to increase effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs.
Deliver weekly reports on campaign and channel metrics
Identify acquisition sources with high Lifetime Values (LTV)
Expertise at radio, television and new media planning and buying
Understands the natural progression from Remnant Buys to Prime Buys and all steps in-between
Strong analytical abilities
At least +10 years of professional experience in Media Buying
Experience within an Ad Agency or Media Buying firm a plus
Business to Business experience a plus but not necessary
Subscription Models, SaaS and/or telecom experience a plus
Must be comfortable with deep analytics
Strong skills with excel and powerpoint
Ability to work creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
