The Senior Manager, Product Delivery is a leadership role In the Product Delivery organization with responsibility for end-to-end implementation of Product solutions. The individual will be responsible for providing thought leadership and generating ideas for pre-sales, planning and delivery of product solutions and services to Argus? clients.The role requires thorough understanding of how data is leveraged in the retail banking industry and how Argus? product solutions and services could be deployed to meet clients? business needs. The Senior Manager will participate in pre-sales activities, RFP responses, and client demonstrations. The role requires the ability to engage clients both from a technical and a business perspective and recommend innovative and thoughtful solutions. The Senior Manager will lead client engagements and be responsible for all aspects of engagements including planning, resourcing, execution and quality of deliverables.
The Senior Manager will be a proven expert in data modeling, data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics. The individual will provide oversight, direction and leadership to a team of Managers, Analysts and senior analysts and will have a strong track record of managing high-performance teams.
Responsibilities include:
Support pre-sales activities, writing technical proposals, RFP responses and sales demos. Actively utilize and leverage Salesforce.com and other client management tools to track and update sales opportunities.
Own the complete development life cycle and anticipate/manage technical risks of implementations.
Manage project teams through all phases of the software development life cycle. Create and execute development plans, revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Lend specific subject matter knowledge to solution design, helping to give specificity to the appropriate architecture, data model, and system design and interfacing requirements.
Awareness of significant industry trends and developments, exploration of new product ideas and services to the clients
Design complex MIS reporting solutions and business intelligence solutions to present optimal views of the data for achieving and supporting client goals
Team with client technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances in implementation of technology solutions
Provide comprehensive technical leadership, direction and training to all analysts and senior analysts in the team. Recruit, coach and mentor analysts to prepare them for taking on higher responsibilities.
Qualifications include:
A B.S or M.S degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
A bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience
In-depth knowledge of relational database technologies, data modeling, ETL and business Intelligence. Strong familiarity with industry trends related to data warehousing, data management, metadata, master data management, unstructured data and data quality practices
Strong quantitative, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Experience managing and leading large teams as well as virtual, cross-functional teams. Must have experience managing project life cycles including defining requirements, developing designs and project plans, and delivering results
Ability to effectively communicate at different levels in and across the organization and to articulate to non-technical and technical audiences
