Senior Manager, Quality Engineering Team iParadigms
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED TurnItIn is seeking a Senior Manager/Director to lead our Quality Engineering team. You?ll be a hands-on player/coach with a charter to expand the team (including in our international office) and drive continual improvement across our wide product base. This position reports to the VP, IT Operations. Limited travel, on-call and after-hours work is required.
Recruit, mentor, and develop Quality Engineers and team leads in our Oakland and UK offices.
Drive continual quality improvement, including implementing metrics, best practices, and new testing methodologies/technologies/tools as needed.
Work cross-functionally with PM, Ops, and Dev staff to create realistic schedules, design testable architectures, resource projects, and ship quality products predictably.
10+ years as a Quality Engineer, including extensive experience with automated web testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium).
5+ years managing Quality Engineering, including building distributed teams.
Experience testing a multilayer application stack in multiple (17+) languages.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
Experience with mobile application (iOS) development/testing highly desirable.
Python/Perl/Ruby/Java programming experience highly desirable.
4-year degree required, strongly prefer a technology (CS/EE/etc.) field.
