Manage Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 Technical Support
Manage Network Outages
Provide criteria for contractor selection
Develop and maintain testing lab for new and existing network elements
Testing and product approval recommendations for new elements
Set guidelines for repair activities of network elements
Set guidelines for quality of work standards
Build and maintain a world class team of Customer Oriented Professionals
Provide direct supervision to Team
Manage Expense Budgets
Interface with local civic groups
Interface with local industrial groups
Interface with Senior Management of Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Planning and Engineering
Assist Senior Director in strategic planning
Plan and implement strategic alignment with Team
Coordinate annual reviews and evaluations of the Team
Third level escalation point for service issues
Ensure quality standards
Proactively meet with critical customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide training and growth opportunities for self and employees
Ensure Safety compliance by all employees in region
Motivate employees to achieve extraordinary customer service
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 10-15 years of Telecom experience. Working knowledge of Network Operation Centers and Telecommunications Networks..
Bachelor in business, computer science, telecommunications and/or related field experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
5 years management experience in a Centers Environment.
Must be able to do long range planning, set goals and be comfortable reporting results to company executives.
Ability to develop and manage budgets.
Outstanding oral and written skills required.
Excellent customer contact skills.
Must have high level of interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure, build and motivate a team, and have a desire to provide ?World Class Service? are all musts in order for Director to succeed.
