Aquion Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, to plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of high-speed, small part assembly equipment. Specific duties include: (i) conceptualizing, developing, and initiating processes for high-speed, small part assembly equipment; (ii) manufacturing assembly systems for new products and capacity expansion programs; and (iii) researching and coordinating with overseas/Chinese suppliers of materials, equipment, etc., and (iv) using Lean and Six Sigma techniques to drive rapid, high-impact operation improvement. Must have master?s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or directly related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or a related position in a manufacturing environment. Must have three (3) years of experience in (i) high volume manufacturing operations and LEAN manufacturing principles; and (ii) design for manufacturability, process development, and qualification (iii) experience must also include manufacturability analysis of scale-up designs. Must be fluent (reading, writing, and speaking) in Mandarin.
