Position Purpose:
Quality control of Evolution Robotics? products specially focusing on the Mint cleaner product line. The candidate will be in charge of development of test plans based on product?s requirements, coordination of bugs fixes, evaluation and auditing of the quality of the manufacturing process, fielding technical questions from customers, and escalation of problems to the contract manufacturer (including frequent travel to the contract manufacturing site). The position involves a substantial portion of ?hands-on? work and requires an individual able to work independently with minimal supervision. The cross-disciplinary nature of consumer robotics products requires a candidate with understanding of evaluation of electromechanical (or robotics) systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience validating complex systems involving hardware, software, and
mechanical components.
Experience with manufacturing of electromechanical consumer products.
Solid background on quality assurance process and methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Minimum Degree : BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have:
Ability to build/assemble/modify electronic assemblies or robots into various configurations
for test purposes.
Experience validating consumer or robotics products.
Experience working with Product Development teams.
