Job Description
Position: Senior Marine Systems Engineer
The Senior Marine Systems Engineer is responsible for integrating fluid, electrical, instrumentation and control components into an optimized and efficient heat engine, for use in commercial and naval marine applications. As such, the Senior Engineer will have oversight over an internal team of systems engineers, component designers and owners, and will also work closely with outside contract engineering resources, component and subcomponent vendors to ensure timely execution of deliverables. The role will be responsible to adapt Echogen?s commercial heat recovery systems to the unique requirements of shipboard applications, and interact closely with partners and customers to deliver a technical solution that is responsive to customer needs.

What we view as important in your background that would prepare you for this position:
5 years of experience working in a similar or comparable role;
2+ years of experience working with shipboard systems, equipment and integration via the Navy or commercial marine operators and/or shipbuilders.
7+ years of experience in the power generation equipment industry and/or demonstrable experience working in one or more of the following design areas:
- Gas turbine packages
- Heat recovery steam generator
- High speed turbo-machines
- High pressure fluid systems
- Other complex engineered products that produce power or work
M.S. or higher;
Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams to solve technical challenges and deliver commercial results;
Experience with best practices of Fortune level companies;
Familiarity with ASME piping and pressure vessel codes and marine qualification procedures; and,
Demonstrable presentation skills.
