The Sr. Market Research Manager will be responsible for design and execution of primary market research for the commercial team. This includes planning and management of primary market research studies, integration of secondary data, and presenting insights to cross-functional teams and senior management.
Primary Responsibilities & Tasks
Managing design and execution of primary qualitative and quantitative market research?includes defining the objectives and developing a market research approach, managing the market research agencies performing the study, analyzing data, preparing presentations and communicating results.
Understanding and integration of secondary data to create full therapeutic area insights.
Contribution to development of integrated market research plan for indicated business unit
Ensuring cross functional communication and alignment to maximize impact of insights on business strategy.
A Bachelor?s degree with a concentration in a quantitative field (finance, mathematics, or statistics). A major in business, economics, mathematics or statistics would be an advantage.
8 + years of work experience with a minimum of 5 years? experience in market research.
Prior experience designing and executing a variety of market research studies and exposure to secondary data sources is required.
Proficiency in SPSS
Ability to manage multiple projects in varied stages at once.
Ability to effectively communicate study results to diverse audiences.
Advanced PowerPoint skills a must.
Experience in global pharmaceutical/medical device market research, or healthcare field is preferred.
MBA or MS is preferred.
Ability to work independently on most aspects of primary market research projects.
Ability to develop new techniques or approaches on some occasions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
