To accelerate our growth and continued success, we?re looking for a results-oriented marketing communication manager that is passionate about social media, PR, marketing content, search engine marketing and thrives in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment. The senior marketing communication manager will work with the CMO to manage the development and execution of all communication strategies and programs designed to promote and enhance the company?s brand reputation, generate inbound traffic, encouraging product adoption and driving profitable customer actions.
Candidates for this position must have expert writing skills, a minimum of 5-7 years of marketing communication experience and a minimum of 2 years of social media experience. Boca Raton Florida is the preferred location for this position, but highly qualified candidates from major cities in the eastern United States will be considered.
Responsibilities
Create, manage, integrate and consistently communicate company messages across a variety of communication vehicles to the many audiences Cortera serves to include customers, partners, prospects and key industry influencers
Write and produce high-impact marketing content to include blog posts, press releases, contributed articles, white papers, videos, info graphics and sales tools designed to drive customer action
Manage the design, development and maintenance of all company web sites to ensure alignment with target audiences? buying cycles
Implement a social media and public relations plan designed to increase Cortera?s brand presence, relevance and differentiation with key audiences and drive inbound traffic
Manage all search engines marketing to include search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per click (PPC)
Develop and maintain productive relationships with key industry influencers and media outlets
Become an advocate of Cortera in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
Manage Cortera?s presence in social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed
Manage speaker operation and award submissions
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in communications, journalism or public relations and a minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on marketing communication and public relations experience, and a minimum of 2+ years of social media experience with the following qualifications:
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Expert written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to write and produce high volumes of high-impact marketing content to include press releases, case studies, white papers, info graphics, videos and contributed articles
Experience designing, implementing and managing web sites and landing pages
Experience securing significant media coverage for early stage companies in early mature markets
Excellent knowledge of and experience in all components of the public relations and social media process
Proven ability to manage and collaborate with public relations and marketing agencies
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet research, Media Maps or like systems and PR Newswire
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
Strong background in web content development, as well as user interface best practices, web technologies to include content management systems (CMS) and web analytics systems
Team player whose superior communication and personnel management skills facilitate the management of creative, shared and agency resources
Ability to analyze data, define metrics and measure program returns
Experience using salesforce.com, Marketo and other sales and marketing automation systems
