A candidate with experience in a full spectrum of marketing communication: digital, social, mobile, print, case studies, whitepapers, B2B, and B2C. Someone to work with marketing, sales, corporate, and product development teams, as well as external vendors and organizations. A writer to work closely with our graphic designers and Marketing Creative Director.
Requirements
? Bachelor's or higher in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a related field?or a combination of experiences and verifiable successes that demonstrate a clear substitute for formal education.
? Versatile writing ability, including demonstrated strength in translating messaging into creative copy and making complex or technical information clear and compelling. The ability to synthesize strategic thinking and project requirements into engaging concepts and copy. A keen understanding of the tools and principles of product and brand strategy is a plus.
? Five or more years of experience as a professional writer ? preferably all or part within the desktop and/or cloud software categories.
? Assist in the development and implementation of processes around standards and guidelines for all content, and help ensure adherence to these standards. Must be adept at selling in ideas to ALL levels of the organization.
? Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
? Detail-oriented with a zeal for fact-checking, keyword usage, editing, catching typos, and grammatical errors.
? Self-motivated, a creative thinker, with strong interpersonal skills. A team player with a positive attitude under pressure.
