What We're Looking For:
2U has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director of Marketing to serve as the brand and product marketing lead for three of our University partner programs. The person will report to the EVP Brand and Product Marketing.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Ensure that our partner programs hit enrollment goals at target acquisition costs.
Develop long terms plans to position programs for maximum growth and profitability.
Ensure the development of effective marketing communications (web site, email, advertisements, etc.)
Evaluate all aspects of the marketing and sales performance (advertising, lead gen, social media, content marketing, web site, email marketing, messaging and creative, etc.)
Act as senior marketing liaison with university partners to secure their support and buy-in for all marketing and sales activities.
Accomplish goals by ensuring all stakeholders in the marketing/sales team share appropriate information so that all do their jobs effectively and ensures that these stakeholders regularly provide data to evaluate their performance.
Develop and share best marketing and implementation practices with the brand/product marketing team.
Lead and develop a team currently consisting of one marketing director and two marketing managers
Manage the launch of new partner programs, or new programs with existing partners as needed.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor's degree required, preference given to candidates with an MBA.
8-15 years of marketing experience.
Experience in both classic product marketing and digital communications a plus.
Ability to make data driven decisions and be comfortable with metrics and ROI driven models.
Experience developing and managing a team is helpful.
Strong executive presence and persuasive communications skills.
Other Attributes That Will Help You in This Role:
Ability to think out of the box and find creative, unorthodox solutions when needed.
Experience managing complex client or partner relationships helpful.
