We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Marketing Manager, who combined with our small, yet highly efficient Marketing team, will expand the PlayFirst brand globally. The candidate of choice will need to have both strategic and tactical abilities and be able to execute aggressively; help define core marketing strategies and he/she wants to join our team because of the desire to work in a creative environment where everyone's opinions count as we strive towards collective success and leadership in mobile gaming. Our ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience from both marketing leadership and the mobile gaming industry.
Working for the VP of Marketing and Product Management on PlayFirst?s strategic objectives for marketing as well as translation of those objectives into tactical roadmaps.
Responsible for driving marketing innovation and forming alliances with internal teams and external partners to deliver content across channels and manage our mobile product releases.
Work with product marketing to manage schedule and budget dependencies to manage new game launches as well as the marketing support of existing games.
Drive PlayFirst?s branding, messaging and PR functions, including the management of outside PR agencies.
Create media campaigns and determine the appropriate methods and system of metrics for measuring and monitoring marketing effectiveness.
Drive strategy for targeting and growing new customer segments, and optimizing messaging and marketing programs per channel and global markets
Drive customer focused research campaigns to inform product development and better understand customer targets and motivations
Lead internal Marketing team and provide an environment that challenges and rewards group by cultivating teamwork, creativity, innovation and career growth.
Required Experience & Attributes
3+ years of marketing experience at a senior manager level.
iOS/Android mobile games marketing experience.
Previous experience in brand positioning; advertising development and building agency relationships.
Strong analytical skills, business acumen and the ability to analyze data to spot important trends and opportunities.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment collaboratively while holding self and others to quality, on-time deliveries.
Ability to be hands-on active manager while providing leadership to the marketing team.
Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
E-commerce and/or retail experience is a plus.
Experience with reporting tools, data analytics, and metrics-driven marketing.
