Description:
The Senior Marketing Manager/Team Lead directs and oversees Scribe's marketing programs, objectives, and initiatives. This person will develop marketing plans for specific products, services, or business lines, reviews changes to the marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plan accordingly. This person will be on a track to become a Director.
The Senior Marketing Manager must have experience with messaging and market positioning, as well as functional expertise in developing integrated marketing programs, including strategic marketing plan development, advertising, thought leadership/public relations, direct marketing, digital communications and relationship development programs.
This person must work closely with the Corporate, Sales, Business Development and Product Management organizations to identify target markets, develop programs for specific target audiences (influencers, decision-makers, business stakeholders, executive management), execute programs in support of sales and corporate goals, and deliver reporting and analysis of these programs. This position will manage internal team (4) as well as work with outside vendors. The person will be expected to both contribute work product as well as manage the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in partner and/or ISV marketing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing programs that reinforce the brand and messaging to create awareness, loyalty and drive pipeline including, but not limited to:
Direct response: mail, email, online
Events: identification of trade shows, conferences, seminars, webinars
Search engine optimization and PPC
E-marketing: white paper promos, newsletters, etc.
Social media programs
Multimedia/video
Develop and execute customer and partner marketing programs
Work with Scribe leadership to develop a vision and strategy for marketing across the heritage and emerging business lines.
Define appropriate reporting metrics. Metrics should clearly articulate successes and identify opportunities for change.
Oversee and manage the associated marketing budgets, including monitoring on-going expenses, processing invoices, and tracking all marketing-related expenses.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 - 10 years experience in software marketing
High energy and enthusiasm
BS/BA or equivalent
History of creative and successful lead generation programs
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
Excellent at generating sales tools and messaging
Experience with salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms (such as SilverPop) required
Experience managing partner or ISV programs a plus
Domain expertise in IT technology solutions
Ability to work independently and function as an area team leader
