The Senior Marketing Success Architect is responsible for provocation of strategic opportunities to prospects and existing clients. The architects will work with our sales team to help prospects and customers develop a marketing success plan to increase revenue and drive ROI. The architects will develop innovation plans to drive program expansion into emerging channels. The Senior Marketing Success Architect will report to the VP of Marketing Success and Innovation and support our prospects and clients in the Eastern Region.
Key responsibilities:
Provide pragmatic and forward-thinking guidance to challenge customers and prospects with our NSM vision and approach.
Develop customized strategic plans for prospects and customers.
Participate in creation of content for events and industry thought leadership.
Contribute to the NSM blog as well as other industry publications such as columns on trade sites and addressing media inquiries.
Develop Innovation Plans for Top Tier clients to help drive client revenue growth and adoption of emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have over 10 years of experience in direct marketing, online marketing, and/or database marketing, with at least 3 years of experience with the email channel. Previous agency or consulting experience required. Ideal candidates will have the following skills/characteristics:
Strong consulting and advising skills (actual consulting experience is preferred). Track record for driving change for clients within their own organization.
Extensive knowledge of industry trends and how those trends are applicable to our clients/prospects.
Excellent presentation and speaking skills.
Ability to 'think outside the box' and come up with innovative ideas.
Confidence and ability to challenge senior-level executives with insights and thoughtful research.
