Description:?Lead the design, development and improvement of reliable high volume manufacturing systems including but not limited to:
-High speed pick and place automation and Robotics
- Conveyors
- Control systems (Pneumatics, Sensors, Motion Control)
- Vision systems and Lasers
- Material handling, Lamination, Fluid dispensing
- High Vacuum Process Equipment
- Precision Mechanisms Design
- Develop equipment specifications, layouts and schematics
?Perform engineering analysis to support design solutions, including root cause analysis of complex problems
? Advanced experience in troubleshooting, root cause identification and resolution
? Key contributor to projects holding to strict and highly aggressive schedules.
Required Experience:
? 8+ years direct experience in the design and development of automated high volume manufacturing equipment
? Photovoltaic panel manufacturing experience a plus

? Demonstrated excellence in leading complex system design, communication, product technology, project management and team work.
? Ability and willingness to work hands-on
? Exceptional problem solving and root cause analysis skills
? Ability to influence others with ideas using supportive data
? Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
? Ability to thrive in a fast paced development engineering environment working on multiple projects simultaneously
? Ability and willingness to keep to a schedule and do what it takes to satisfy a deadline
? Expertise in SolidWorks, PDM systems required
? Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, and Excel desired
Required Education:
? B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (Advanced degree preferred)
