Overview:
Looking for an opportunity to join the agency that Forrester ranks at the top performer in search? We are looking for an up and coming SEM superstar to join our organization to work on complex fortune 500 clients and join a large and dynamic media team within our Chicago office.
The Senior Media Analyst participates in all aspects day to day of clients? search media campaigns, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The primary function is successful management of PPC campaigns to client goals and communicating those results directly to clients.
Responsibilities:
Research clients? websites ? understand online goals and objectives. Develop keywords and phrases relevant to business model.
Assisting in development of search media plans (research, , targeting, and network distribution, keyword building, ad copy writing, etc.) and building effective relationships with all vendors
For client media campaigns, develop advertising copy / messaging adhering to the search engine specifications and guidelines.
Responsible for proofreading content and ensuring quality of message.Interact with clients as needed for approvals and / or revisions.
Assist in generating weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for all clients, and ability to recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies.
Collaborate with technical team the implementation of codes onto URLs for effective tracking and return on investment (ROI) measurement.
Assisting in monthly and quarterly media billing reconciliations.
Study, observe and develop learnings on all elements of paid media campaign management.
Maintain an understanding of industry trends and research industry related media.
Qualifications:
??Bachelor?s Degree with strong academic record
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in search engine marketing/paid search (ie: experience with bid management and adjustment of search media campaigns across multiple sites, keyword building and writing effective copy, highly relevant and targeted to clients' products and/or services.)
Experience with internal site visitor reporting/tracking programs or software (Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Omniture).
Google Adwords Certification a plus
Strong Excel skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
