This versatile role will require a senior developer to mentor, lead, and integrate our junior engineering team to deliver the most cutting edge application that is fault tolerant, efficient, and scalable using the Unity development platform.
We are developing a system that can serve content to millions of users a day on mobile platforms like iOS and Android. Using the Unity development platform, you design, build, and document custom components that streamline the development process for new mobile applications.
To be successful, you must be able to write clear and efficient C# applications. You have worked on an application or game that has reached millions of users. You are a full lifecycle engineer that loves writing C#. You are experienced with leading small teams and handle pressure.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Unity developers to build components and then use those components to develop new Unity iOS and Android applications
- Obsessively improve performance on existing Unity components
- Publish new applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android
- Design and implement highly scalable C# applications and components for Unity
- Use Jira to manage and assign tasks to the development team
- Report to the head of the core platform development
- Administer tools for the team including managing permissions, training, and implementation
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years in the industry with extensive C# experience and an example project or game
- Ability to multi-task and delegate
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- iOS or Android experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior startup experience
- Demonstrated open-source contributions
- IEEE Published
- MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Familiar with Apple App Store submission process
- Familiar with Unity Development Platform
daqri offers a competitive base salary of 80-120k with bonus and equity compensation packages
