LivingSocial, the company that brings you the best things to do in your city, has an immediate opening for a Mobile Designer on our User Experience team. The Mobile Designer is responsible for creating compelling concepts for new products and experiences across varied platforms while maintaining overall brand integrity.
Conceive and design new features and ideas for mobile devices (Android, iPad, and iPhone).
Works with UX architects,user researchers and product owners to create mobile use cases in immediate local settings.
Understand and communicate special considerations or limitations across platforms.
Contribute great ideas.
Our perfect candidate...
Has a bachelor's degree.
Has 2-3 years of mobile design experience (Native Android app experience a big plus).
Knows their way around the Adobe CS tools, especially Illustrator (Mac user? Be still our hearts).
Is a self-starter.
Doesn't think their first idea is the best one.
Communicates their concepts and ideas effectively.
Loves tackling new challenges.
Has a kick-ass portfolio and lives to show it off.
Digital portfolio required for consideration.
Commensurate with experience.
