We are searching for highly engaged, passionate, top-tier developers with strong critical-thinking skills to work on our high-performing Scrum team. The world?s leading brands, media companies and agencies turn to eMarketer every day for data, analysis and insights on digital marketing, media and commerce. You will play a critical role as a member of our co-located Scrum team coding .NET 4 features for our web applications and internal systems.We use all of the latest and greatest web technologies that we can get our hands on, so we need new team members who are as excited about software development as we are. In a typical day you will be working directly with your cross-functional Scrum team (devs, designers, testers), attending stand-up, kick-off meetings, coding new features and maintaining existing ones.
Qualifications:
Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong team-oriented work ethic
Good verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently and with increasing quality
Strong C# coding skills, and strong ASP.NET 4.0 experience (minimum 3 years and .NET 4.0 is a must)
Experience with, or enthusiasm for, using object-relational mapping technologies such as Entity Framework
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Advanced JavaScript experience, including client side MVVM technologies like Knockout.js
Enthusiasm for unit testing
Experience with Git source code management
Additional, preferred qualifications include:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment (highly preferred)
BA/ BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
