b:ok has an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer on our team to service our Middle Tennessee client base. In this role, you would have direct contact with our clients both at their location as well as remote support providing technical services, project planning, network architecture, and strategic consulting. In this role, customer service (customer delight!) is paramount. The ability to communicate technical information no matter the audience is of utmost importance. If you have the ability to provide insight on how to apply technology to justify and support business operations in a variety of environments and can service and communicate this to all parties, you are the candidate for us.

qualifications
Bachelor?s degree from accredited college or university
Prefer Microsoft Network Certification, 2008 (ideal) or 2003
4+ Years of technical knowledge and experience in information systems (network design, administration and optimization)
Experience architecting and implementing messaging solutions using Exchange 2003/2007/2010
Clear understanding and experience troubleshooting (Firewall, VPN, IDS) applications in a networking environment. Watchguard certification preferred
Strong knowledge of remote access technologies such as IPSEC, SSL-VPN, RDP/Terminal Server
VMWare experience preferred
Expert level networking/routing/troubleshooting
History using well-known monitoring and analysis tools
Demonstrated ability to strategically design technology solutions for business challenges
Excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal, time management, written and oral communications skills
Ability to provide detailed documentation is a must. Strong use of Visio, Word, Excel
Must provide reliable transportation and be able to travel throughout Middle Tennessee
skills
Must have a proven ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Must have a personal commitment to quality, creativity, and customer service
Experience mentoring engineers in technology and processes
Strong time management skills
Attention to detail while dealing with multiple priorities

responsibilities
Provides End-User support, planning, analysis, design, auditing and system monitoring
Supports Network Equipment, Server, desktops, laptops, mobile, tablets, Exchange, SQL (a plus)
Plans, installs, configures, deploys, monitors and troubleshoots servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, firewalls, switches, Exchange
Works with IT Services team, sales and project managers to gather requirements for client business needs and develops project plans
With sales/project management support, presents solution architecture recommendations and estimates to clients
Documentation for customers to aid with team support
Records time and notes daily in time accounting system
Continuing education and skills-development
