Senior Network Engineer Seven Networks
DescriptionThe Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining various production as well as corporate networks. This will require knowledge of BGP, OSPF and IPSec. Familiarity with Brocade/Foundry equipment is highly desired. The candidate will participate in an on-call schedule, and should work well with other teams.
Responsibilities
Configure and maintain secure production, corporate and remote networks
Identify operational issues and come up with alternatives to deal with those issues
Document network topologies and configurations
Maintain a secure the network using firewalls
Allow for secure access to resources via point-to-point VPN or client VPN technologies
Assisting customers in configuring IPSec tunnels to support the System 7 application
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience working hands with Brocade/Foundry products, FastIron switches, NetIron routers, Cisco firewalls (ASA 5500 series) etc.
Knowledge of BGP and OSPF
Thorough knowledge of IPSec, will be required to configure half tunnels, where the customer configures their end
Ability to work within a process oriented environment, change management procedures should be followed and clear communications between management should be kept at all times
Experience with datacenter environments is a plus
Brocade BCNP certification desired.
Experience with load balancers including Brocade, A10, and Netscaler.
Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
