A successful individual in this role will have a strong background as a Network Engineer in Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. We're seeking someone who works well and communicates effectively with others, is a self-starter and can think through a project from start to finish. In this position, you will be responsible for:
Support the administration and maintenance of all networking equipment including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN appliances and Load Balancer
Design and build Network for high availability and flexibility to change with new technology
Perform VLAN changes, upgrades, port adds, moves and changes
Assist with administering and maintaining VPNs, new site-to-site VPNs, corporate remote logins, and upgrades
Plan and implement network security
Perform Firewall NAT, policies, routing, ACLs, and application troubleshooting
Troubleshoot networks and help to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
Assist with network and storage-related moves and changes
Assist with Development/QA- related additions, moves, and changes to the network infrastructure
Available for 24x7 on-call basis to debug and troubleshoot production issues
Answer all network-related trouble tickets/emails
Interact with internal clients to resolve network issues in a timely manner
Isolate routing policies between multiple data centers including community attribute schemes
The successful candidate will have:
10+ years of relevant IT experience.
Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with the following Vendor technologies:
Force10 - S-Series, E-Series (Terascale and Exascale), C-series
Load Balancers - F5 Big IP, Netscaler Load Balancers
