Based out of our London office, you will assist in the design, installation, configuration, and automation of the networking platform that delivers all of the LiveOps product offerings, which encompasses production, staging, QA, development and corporate environments. Key requirements are to maintain uptime, add capacity, improve reliability, and help design the future network infrastructure for the entire LiveOps business with special attention paid to the demands of a High Availability environment. We'll look to your recommendations on the best way to achieve our goals and you'll play a lead role on project work. Your in-depth knowledge of and experience with large capacity deployments of both telecom and IP networks will be the backbone of your skill set for success in this role. You'll also draw on the following skills and experiences that you've acquired to date:
Senior level experience in network administration and support
Solid knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP networking
Experience in some of these areas is required; experience in most of these areas is preferred: Cisco IOS, ACLs, routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), load balancing, DNS, 3DNS, switching (Cisco-based), VLANs, VPNs, MANs, IDS, Radius, SNMP, Cisco ASA and Juniper firewalls, TACACS, QoS, and expert knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and subnetting
Experience in a high availability environment required
Experience with VoIP and traditional PSTN/PBX is a plus
Previous experience with change management systems is desired
We need our networks to be available 24x7x365 so your ability to be on-call 50% of the time will be a requirement.
