As a Keynote Senior Network Systems Performance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Technical Operations team, reporting to the Senior Director of External Operations, providing hands-on technical expertise and leadership relating to our production networks and systems. You will be supporting and optimizing over 100 Co-Locations Data Centers, 100s of WAN connections, over 4000 Win 7 Servers with Keynotes proprietary measurement software and over 1000 mobile appliances. You will need to be comfortable juggling multiple high-priority tasks, have a drive to exceed expectations, and be willing to hit the ground running. Responsibilities:
Learn, interpret and become an expert at trouble shooting Keynotes proprietary application code.
Maximizes network performance by monitoring and thorough analysis; actively troubleshooting
network problems and outages; research reoccurring issues, parse through logs and develop new strategies to optimize network performance and reduce cost.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Work with Co-Location facilities, collaborate globally and perform troubleshooting analysis of problems with network infrastructure and systems working with ISP or vendors.
Monitor network and server system performance and implement performance tuning.
Search SQL data bases and do trend/historical analysis of Keynote measurement data
Seek and implement tools that automate manual process. E.g., scripting, & batch files
Design, Install, configure and administer servers and software systems.
Supports network and server administration of a 24x7 infrastructure; provide 24x7 off-hour on-call.
Deploy application and systems patches.
Liaising with product engineering and system design.
Document network problems and resolution for future reference.
Work effectively on cross departmental projects; strong change management abilities.
Effectively work independently on projects/tasks.

Qualifications:
5-8 years? of network and systems administration/engineer experience required.
Strong working knowledge of OSI model.
Ability to do packet traces & analyze TCP/IP issues using standard packet tracing software
Good working experience with logical design models (Spanning tree, VTP, VLANs, physical cabling).
Knowledge of network protocols (CoS, PoE, NTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP), network management protocols (CDP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS/SSL, AAA, IPSec).
Good working knowledge with IP communication and routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Good working Knowledge of WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, MPLS,TDM circuits).
Good working experience managing Windows 2003/2008 environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication and spoken skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working in a team-oriented, joint environment, preferably in a 24/7/365 SaaS/Cloud organization/company.
Education and Technical Skills
Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
Systems: Windows 2003/2008, Cisco Systems, UNIX, Linux.
Networking: Switches, Routers, VPN, Servers, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP,
Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS.
