Responsibilities:--Oversees the work performed by other Operations Analysts/Project Managers
--Works directly with all related business teams to define solutions that drive business processes
--Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and the industry
--Able to work in a cross-functional team, sharing responsibilities while maintaining accountability
--Assigned to enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with medium to high-level of complexity and cross-system impacts
--Possesses the ability to conceptualize, document, and communicate solutions to meet business objectives
--Creates, reviews and/or edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions
--Maintains knowledge of IT technologies in general and particularly those used by the organization
--Assists in the facilitation of team and client meetings
--Delivers informative, well-organized presentations
--Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
--Assists with leading and directing the implementation of development initiatives
--Gathers and assesses strategic and operational project status, issues, risks and dependencies
--Works closely with other departments to anticipate changes in functionality and priorities
--Coordinates with other technical staff and business areas to develop high quality solutions
--Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of a specified account/client from a business and technical perspective
--Serves as a liaison to business user groups, customers and the IT group
--Helps build business knowledge within the organization and educate business users on related system applications
--Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
--Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback
Qualifications:
--Minimum Bachelors Degree in relevant field
--Minimum 10 years of experience as a business analyst and/or project manager
--Experience overseeing multiple large scope projects
--Excellent communication skills
--Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
--Ability to quickly learn and understand a new business problem
--Sharp analytical and problem solving skills on a variety of software applications
--Requires a structured, process-oriented problem solving mentality
--Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines but still maintain attention to details
--Must be a self-starter, able to work independently in a complex, matrixed environment
--Strong customer relations skills
--Experience working with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical
--Experience working on high impact cross-functional teams
--Knowledge and experience in information systems design and analysis including familiarity of system limitations
--Ability to manage time effectively and self directed
--Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
--Proficient in the use of MS Office
--Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
